Kothanur CSI Church is a vibrant and diverse congregation with regular worship services in predominantly in English followed by regional languages such as Kannada and Tamil.
We welcome people from all regional and language backgrounds to worship with us KCSIC is a
Gospel-centered church, which is part of the Church of South India (CSI) Karnataka Central Diocese.
Our Vision
The vision of Kothanur CSI Church (KCSIC) is to remain as a Gospel-centered Church engaging and making members to make a lasting difference in their lives both inside and outside the church. The church also provides space for transformation of lives by the love of God and involves in restoring love and hope through its mission and outreach activities to build communities of believers. KCSIC is committed to helping people to find hope in their journey of Faith.

Our mission at the Kothanur CSI Church is to lead people to Christ, help them experience God, and empower them to grow in faith, love, and service. MEET OUR PASTORATE COMMITTEE
The Pastorate Committee (PC) comprises of the Presbyter In-Charge, Rev. Navin K. John, as the Chairman, and elected members of the Church who support in the regular Church administration and ministry. PC members serve for a three-year term. The committee includes the Hon. ABOUT OUR PASTOR
About Rev. Navin K. John
The Reverend Navin K. John serves as the sixth Presbyter of the Kothanur CSI Church in Bengaluru. His association with KCSIC dates back over a decade, having served as Assistant Pastor from 2011 to 2014. He holds a vast experience in pastoral ministry.
Education & Ministerial Formation
Rev. Navin, raised in a devout Christian family, graduated from St. Joseph’s College, Bangalore. He then earned a B.D. from Gurukul Lutheran Theological College, Chennai, and an M.Th. in Systematic Theology from UTC, Bengaluru.
Pastoral Journey
Ordained in 2005, Rev. Navin began his ministry in Tumkur, Kengeri, and Doddaballapur, later serving diverse urban and rural congregations across the CSI Karnataka Central Diocese. A committed, action-oriented pastor, he works to strengthen the Church’s ministries and build God’s Kingdom.
Family
Rev. Navin John is married to Mrs. Nivedhitha John, an accountant, who stands as a pillar of support to him amidst his busy pastoral engagements. They are blessed with a dear son, Nischal. Rev. Navin also shares biblical reflections through his audio blog, which can be accessed from the Spotify link
